My one extravagence is books and your name came to me quite by accident and I bought those two books. It was money well spent.

You have a wonderful ability to use landscape as character. I am familiar with the many regions of BC and my children were born in North Vancouver.

The characters in your books, especially The Promise of Rain will probably never leave me.

Thank you for your determination and dedication to writing.
